If you indicated that your prayer request is for yourself or someone else who needs help. We can find the promises of God to be trustworthy. Here are some promises that you may find to be helpful during this time.

  • And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19).
  • Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6, 7)
  • If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:11)
  • Therefore do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (Matthew 6:31,32)
  • The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. (Nahum 1:7).
  • The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:9).
  • The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (Psalm 18:2).
  • Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. (Psalm 31:24).
  • Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Psalms 32:7).
  • Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19).
  • Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. (Psalm 37:24).
  • The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. (Psalm 37:39).
  • God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. (Psalm 46:1-3).
  • Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22).
  • There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh they dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. (Psalm 91:10-11).
  • Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. (Psalm 138:7).
  • He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. (Isaish 40:29).
  • These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
