Pastor Calvin Watkins II is a native of Atlanta, Georgia the eldest of three children born to Pastor Calvin Watkins, Sr., (current Vice President of the Southwest Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists) and Ruth Watkins.
Pastor Watkins earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Oakwood College in 2004; A Son of South Atlantic Conference. Upon Graduation he began his ministry in the Gainesville/Toccoa Georgia district. Following this he was blessed to serve as pastor in Goldsboro and LaGrange North Carolina from 2010 to 2017. It was one of the greatest gifts of his life to experience the fellowship of friendship in the area.
During his tenure, he and his wife, Névine, celebrated the births of their two daughters Liana (now 12) and Kailyn (now 9). Parkstown and Goldsboro will always have a special place in his heart!
He formerly served as Senior Pastor of the Forest Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church in Forest Hill, Texas where his church recently paid off their mortgage and is continuing renovations...
Though Parkstown, Goldsboro, and Forest Hill will always have a special place in his heart, God has guided his journey to Cleburne Texas! Excitedly he looks to be of service to the community, here in Cleburne!
